The game is available for free download. There are two ways to go about it:
You can download the game from this location:
As a bit of an experiment, I have created a torrent of the game via The Pirate Bay. It doesn’t seem to be working at the moment, but I’m leaving the link up in case it suddenly does.
» Download A Life Worth Losing v1.0 (via ThePirateBay.org)
Installing the game
The game comes in a zip file, which most Windows users will know what to do with (and if not, the operating system usually does).
Simply unzip the contents of the downloaded file to a directory of your choice.
To run the game, simply launch the lwl.exe file. If you want to play the game in a window instead of full-screen, use the supplied setup utility setup.exe.
Note: Because this game was made with AGS, it only works on Windows operating systems. Mac and Linux users can probably run the game in Windows emulation mode (be sure to enable sound, or the game will probably crash). Currently there aren’t any working ports of the new AGS engine that work natively with Mac or Linux.
